ECSC has many landmark buildings in overseas regions, and the following are some of the more well-known buildings
Dubai Alrosa Tamanne Maze Tower
The Alrosa Tamanne Maze Tower is a 55-story mixed-use building. The front and back balconies of the tower are notable, forming an intricate maze. The entire exterior is clad in natural Brazilian Verdejo limestone to create a striking appearance. The Alrosa Tamanne Maze Tower features a deep green hue at the corners through water jet treatment, while flame technology is applied to the lighter shades to emphasize the maze. It roughens the surface and creates a more reflective and lightweight finish.
United States Embassy in London
The United States Embassy in London was designed by the team at KieranTimberlake Architects. The building's rectangular shape symbolizes permanence, while the glass curtain wall that wraps around the structure represents transparency and openness. The interior gardens on each floor contain views of different regions of the United States, such as the desert landscapes of the Grand Canyon and the lush forests along the Pacific coast. To promote a sense of fairness, the best lit and scenic windows are designated as flexible office areas that can be used by all employees.
Melbourne 1000 La Trobe
Designed by internationally renowned Woods Bagot, 1000 La Trobe will offer spacious and bright floor plates with panoramic views of the central business district and waterfront. The project includes 21 levels of Grade A workspace, designed with flexibility and wellness in mind. It offers 2,100 square meters of expansive, flexible floor plates and exceptional amenities.
Dorsett Hotel
The Dorsett Hotel Singapore is located in the historic Chinatown district, providing a striking and exquisite contrast to the traditional buildings in the surrounding area. Its modern, all-glass facade creates a refreshing landmark. The hotel offers 285 stylish and modern guestrooms and penthouses, with high ceilings and a sense of space. All rooms are equipped with wireless internet services and 40-inch LCD TVs with international channels, allowing you to stay connected to the rest of the world in the international city of Singapore.
Cairo Conrad Hotel
The Conrad Hotel Cairo is an award-winning business and conference hotel with exquisite taste evident in its meeting and event venues, including one of the largest ballrooms in all of Cairo. Fairmont Hotel
Fairmont Hotel Dubai is located in the heart of downtown Dubai, opposite the Dubai World Trade Center on Sheikh Zayed Road. Kuwait Investment Authority
The Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) is an independent investment institution owned by the government of Kuwait, responsible for managing general reserve funds and future funds, as well as other funds entrusted by the Ministry of Finance to manage on behalf of the government of Kuwait. KIA is the world's first and oldest manager of sovereign wealth funds, managed by a board of directors. The committee has authority and independence over the asset allocation strategy of the fund and is responsible for the performance of the fund. The fund mainly invests in private equity and public equity, real estate, fixed income, and alternative investment markets.
Great Egyptian Museum
The Giza Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) was designed by Heneghan Peng Architects, Buro Happold, and Arup, while the master planning, design, and museology of the exhibition were undertaken by Metaphor and Cultural Innovations Ltd. The building presents a chamfered triangular shape on the plan, located two kilometers west of the pyramids and near the highway intersection. Its north and south walls are aligned with the Great Pyramid of Khufu and the Pyramid of Menkaure. In front of the building, there is a large square filled with date palms. One of the main features of the museum is a translucent stone wall made of alabaster, which forms the front facade of the building. Inside the main entrance is a large atrium for exhibiting large statues.
Moscow Ritz Carlton Hotel
The Ritz-Carlton Moscow is decorated by renowned German designer Peter Silling in the style of Russian classicism, with matching furnishings. The spacious and luxurious rooms are stylish and modern, and guests can control curtains and lighting electronically.
Singapore Hyflux Innovation Center
The Hyflux Innovation Centre is a high-end, office-rich industrial building located in the Kallang Industrial Area, at the junction of Mindermill Road and Boon Keng Road, within walking distance of the Boon Keng and Mindermill MRT stations. The Hyflux Innovation Centre is the headquarters and innovation centre of Hyflux Corporation, housing R&D, engineering and business development activities. It represents a great opportunity for high-tech companies. The building has a total height of 10 storeys and a total construction area of 43,435 square meters.
Ruby Mills Tower
The Ruby Mills Tower is located on a four-story podium with parking facilities. It was designed by FXFOWLE Architects and Access Architects, with ALT serving as the facade consultant. It is jointly developed by The Ruby Mills Ltd and Rohan Lifescapes, and is currently located in one of Mumbai's most desirable financial destinations.
Alexandria Library
The total construction area of the Library of Alexandria is 36,770 square meters, with 11 floors and a total height of 33 meters, providing a usable area of 85,405 square meters. Among them, the library space for cultural activities accounts for 4,210 square meters, the space for scientific and technological services accounts for 10,860 square meters, the space for international data research schools accounts for 3,500 square meters, and the conference center and other auxiliary service spaces account for 30,840 square meters.
Sky Garden
The commercial destination makes DIFC a popular financial district, and world-class urban amenities contribute to increased demand for residential development. One such residential tower is the Sky Garden in Dubai. This 40-story tower offers 575 apartments and features 8 floors of commercial space, 5 floors of garden space, 20 floors of podium space, 4 floors of duplex space, and 2 floors of penthouse space, with an estimated height of 160 meters.
Dorsett Hotel
Located in the historic building-filled Chinatown area of Singapore, Dorsett Hotel contrasts beautifully with the surrounding modern commercial district. The Dorsett Singapore is a 4-star hotel located in Singapore, with prime location adjacent to Orchard Road, Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa Island, Universal Studios Singapore, Central Business District, and Eurasia MRT Station, providing convenient transportation access.
Renaissance Tower
Located on the Asian side of Istanbul, at the intersection of two major highways connecting different continents. The tower stands at 185.5 meters tall and has a total floor area of 84,845 square meters. It is Turkey's first high-rise building certified under the LEED Platinum standard. The design is guided by a fusion of cultural heritage and sustainable concerns. The Renaissance Tower's distinct silhouette takes cues from Ottoman geometric patterns and draws inspiration from the surrounding local landscape. The tower rises gracefully from the ground to meet the sky, redefining Istanbul's skyline and becoming a new symbol for the city. The tower is rotated 33 degrees to achieve optimal solar control determined through solar modeling. A patterned golden veil, adjusted to the sun's direction, further reduces heat load, allowing glass from floor to ceiling to come together while achieving ambitious energy efficiency targets. This second skin combines performance and decoration, embodying the spirit and aura of the "Orient".
Doha Sports City Tower
As part of the 2006 Asian Games venue, the Doha Sports City Tower is the landmark structure of the entire sports center. Standing at a height of 317 meters, it is the tallest building in Doha and overlooks the entire Asian Games venue covering an area of 130 hectares. The design of the sports city tower features an elegant parabolic curve that resembles a blazing torch. Zahra was honored to be part of this great project as the curtain wall installer and accessories supplier.
Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Dubai
As the world's leading luxury hotel brand, Ritz-Carlton has followed classic styles since its establishment in the 19th century and has become a must-stay hotel for political figures and celebrities. Extremely luxurious and extravagant, it has always been known as "the roof of the world", as long as there is a Ritz-Carlton hotel, it is always the first choice for national political figures and social celebrities to stay.
Capital Plaza
The Capital Plaza in Abu Dhabi is a high-rise complex that consists of five buildings. Located in the Marina District of Abu Dhabi, the complex includes three luxury apartment towers, a office tower, and a hotel tower. The apartment towers, A Tower, B Tower, and C Tower, stand at 39, 45, and 39 floors tall, respectively, and provide a total of 260 apartments, including 21 sky villas and six rooftop villas. The hotel tower is the Abu Dhabi branch of the Sofitel chain and stands at 37 floors tall with 283 rooms. The office tower stands at 34 floors tall.
Dubai International Finance Center
The Dubai International Finance Center (DIFC) is a high-rise complex designed by the world-renowned British architecture firm Atkins. The complex covers a total area of 420,000 square meters and is located in the DIFC district of Dubai. It includes three office towers and one residential tower, as well as a retail and leisure complex. The tallest tower, the DIFC Tower 1, stands at 321 meters tall and has 64 floors. The second tallest tower, the DIFC Tower 2, stands at 259 meters tall and has 57 floors. The third tower, the DIFC Tower 3, stands at 235 meters tall and has 51 floors. The residential tower, the DIFC Residences Tower, stands at 188 meters tall and has 46 floors. The complex also includes a shopping mall with retail and leisure facilities and a landscaped plaza.
EK3 shopping center
The EK3 shopping center in Germany covers an area of 15,750 square meters and is located at the end of the Kapellen Ford city's pedestrian zone facing the front courtyard of the pedestrian zone. The entrance of the mall is designed as a pavilion-style structure that serves as an important component of the front courtyard and also as the intersection of two urban directional lines. The shopping corridor for visitors is clearly visible through the pavilion. The mall includes retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment facilities and is conveniently accessible by car with ample parking spaces available.
Emirates Palace Hotel
The Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi is a palace-style hotel located on the beachfront. It faces the Arabian Gulf on its northern and western sides. The hotel was originally built to accommodate the Gulf Cooperation Council's summit in Abu Dhabi and was originally known as the "Conference Palace". It was later renamed "Emirates Palace Hotel". The hotel was designed by renowned British architect John Elliott. His design aesthetic features a dignified and elegant style with rich Arabian influences. From a distance, it somewhat resembles a mosque and also has elements that recall the palaces of Sindbad or Alibaba from Arabian folklore. Each palace has a storyline that is richly steeped in Arabian tradition. This palace-style hotel, which is more luxurious and expensive than any other hotel in the world, cost US$30 billion to construct.
Gama Tower
The Gama Tower in Indonesia stands at 310 meters tall with 69 floors above ground and four below ground. The total construction area is 1.6 hectares, and there are over 1100 parking spaces available. Construction on the project began in 2011 and was completed in 2015, opening in August 2016. It was designed by PT Sekawan design Inc., with Tyler Thompson Whittier serving as consultant for the façade design. The Gama Tower is a luxurious office building that incorporates green building concepts and practices. The Westin Hotel occupies the first 20 floors of the tower. Views of Jakarta can be seen from all angles on the 51st floor restaurant, offering a panoramic view of Jakarta. On the 67th floor, there is a club and lounge area. The function hall is located on the top floor of the tower at level 69, while the remaining floors are dedicated to administrative uses.
Abu Dhabi Global Market
The project includes four towers located on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, two of which are 31 stories and the other two are 37 stories, with two road bridges, two parking lots, a stock exchange, luxury stores and external facilities. The office floors of each building are located above the outdoor terrace of 34 meters, in addition to a highly transparent open lobby, which greatly enhances the customer's vision. A landscape plaza connects the four buildings and the exchange. Below the plaza, there is a two-story retail platform that provides high-end shopping services for customers in the coastal area.
Algiers Grand Mosque
The largest mosque in Africa, the Algiers Grand Mosque, aims to be completed by the end of 2018. This mosque has the world's highest minaret, and the project is jointly constructed by China State Construction Engineering Algeria Company and China State Construction Engineering Third Company in Wuhan. The project covers an area of 400,000 square meters and includes 12 buildings such as minarets, prayer halls, Islamic colleges, libraries, and cultural centers.
Abu Dhabi Guggenheim Museum
The Guggenheim Museum is the collective name for all museums under the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, one of the world's most famous private modern art museums. It is also a globally renowned art museum chain with branches in various locations. The Guggenheim Museum in New York is the foundation's headquarters and has four branches in Bilbao, Spain; Venice, Italy; Berlin, Germany; and Las Vegas, USA. In July 2006, the foundation signed a contract with the Abu Dhabi government to establish a branch in the city, making it the largest of the Guggenheim's many galleries.
